Maxtor's are a little cheap... too many refurbs out there being sold... so to me that = failures.
Anyways... My WD has been great so far, fast and it's really quiet too.

Yup, and back in the day Quantum's were sick.
I rather spend a few bucks more and buy a WD over a Maxtor. Mind you, 300GB SATA Hard Drive by Maxtor is only $115.00
