you think after such an endeavour and big power claims, they would have done a proper tranny + rear suspension. th400 isnt that hard to get under an rx7. throw a little more money at it and backhalf the thing.
and 20b's melting turbines isnt anything new. most people with a 20b are serious about power, and when youre serious, you run methanol. big power 20b cars run alcohol, its not a new concept, and it brings temperatures WAY down on the turbo rotaries.
who would have thought there was more to going fast then slapping in a bigger motor and a king kong turbo!?!

I don't think you know who Steve is (the owner of this *supposed* high HP RX7)...
Although there are high HP claims floating around the internet... He does know his shit when it comes to rotaries...
He knows more then anyone on this forum and probably more then everyone put together...
I'm not sure what exactly the issue is with the car, and why there are wild claims coming from people about it... But from what I've seen from him in the past, he'll wake up one day with some crazy ass idea as usual and the car will work.
His old RX-7 was bitchslapping 10 sec cars on the street from what I've been told many times... so don't let this thread fool you.
I wouldn't talk smack until the car has all it's bugs worked out.
