I'm interested in seeing what u'r getting
But U'r still capped @ 3 Mbit... Where as Rogers caps u (currently the max) @ 6 Mbit. IMO that would mean Cable > DSL to me... plus the bandwith available doesn't really effect the Rogers network anymore... Just beacuse it's shared doesn't mean it sucks.
And I don't have to deal with User ID's and PWD's and loging on with DSL when I want to use my internet. I like the Rogers always on concept.
And with Rogers you can connect multiple computers as well and get multiple IP's... I've done it before.
On top of this... There are many things you can do with Rogers Cable that you can't do with DSL. Like go even faster then rogers offers

Im not saying they have never treated u well, ur payign for a service and u prolly bribed them to work on the C.S.R.'s car for extra bandwidth

hehe j/k
Theres no point in me posting up my speed tests, i do them all the time....my DSL modem is connected at 3008Mbps Down and 800Kps up... Thats a theoretical top download speed of 376K/Sec and Upload speed of 100K/Sec.
You'll never reach in any connection your theoretical max though, not in 1 instance anyways. That is liek u said a typical 3Mbps connection, thats what I paid for though. What i was trying to say is, you can get nicer connection...4, 5, 6, 10MBps even thru DSL. Not just from Bell.
That was my whole point I guess. You dont have to feel liek your limited to only Rogers and Bell (or Cogeco if you fall into a city/town that uses them, although ill take cogeco over ANY ISP out there if you ask me). Theres all kinds of companys out there that offer DSL service, which is good, cuz it will cost you less than what Bell would charge you for the same/similar connection, and you have the ability to run a web/file/whatever you want server, unlimited connection (no caps) aswell as all kinds of other nice features that you wouldnt get with Bell's DSL service for ad ud pay more for it too.
And what happens if you dont have cable in your house? (not to say your poor, but maybe you have satelitte or Lokk TV or something). I've got Look TV in my house, its Wireless digital cable. They also offer a wireless high speed internet connection, which is yet another alternative.
Meh i forgot what i was talkign about now, i just woke up...
