You're grilling me for not having a car, yet the only time you admit to racing one was when the Vega was LENT to you. Not only that, you don't even have that anymore! You had a 10 sec civic so you say? But sold off the parts/car, you never took it to the track but claim it runs 10's from u'r butt 1/4 meter, and racing "supposed" other 10 sec cars on the street. Yes I know he does... And he's been involved with the tracks for a very long time, but yet again... You claim otherwise and say tracks are for *****s... Yet every serious engine/car builder takes their cars to the track. Yet you don't. So now I'm supposed to aknowledge that you are supposed to be taken seriously while you call established shops/people *****s for going to the track and some for ONLY racing on the track?

As for the reading part, you only learn about 1% from a book or magazine. You learn by doing it. I guess thats why all the book nerds in my class would get 60's while I was pulling off 90%. Book are only guidelines and not actual facts. There are too many things that can change what is written in a book.

While I agree you learn doing things, but you learn a lot more then just 1% from books. Besides... I didn't mean reading a step by step guide... I meant reading the theories BEHIND what you want to do, and then applying it to a real life situation. Otherwise you're going to go through A LOT of trial and error before you get something that works properly.
Again, IF you're so good... How come you don't have your own shop? Why aren't you making money doing something so supposedly soooo good at? You obviously are just a small blip (even in that small trailor park where you live) in this big world.
