First off, it's not that I can't build my own car... It's that I choose not to at this time... I have other things to invest in, or should I say prefer to invest in... I know when u live in hillbilly land way up north and tow cars for a living you get bored quickly and you have to mess around with 10 different cars that you claim run so and so fast, but then sell off or part out  
I actually was planing to do a 2L 16V build in a MK2 Jetta this and next month, but decided to put my penny's elsewhere... and i'm glad I did.. because I can always do something like that later on.
But once I'm ready and have the funds to properly build the car I really want to I will (not a Jetta, or VW at that) 
You're a dreamer... you talk a lot of non-sense, and if you haven't noticed almost everyone on here know's that you're full of BS... Actually you would know why if you went over the things you write.

Becuase it is, its week, lacks engine management, Worst electrical system I have seen yet.
Actually, I am not the dreamer, you would be that. I don't need to get any shop or pay anyone to build my cars for me. Thats the differnce between wantabe racers and real racers. The only ones here that are full of BS is people like you that can't build a car, or know the principals in making them go
FYI, the vega may not have been in my name, but neither are half the cars on this site in the drivers names. Also, next time you are at the track and a event, do over to the drivers and ask them if they own the cars they drive, I bet they don't either.
