Yeah pull the drain plug. Most will come out, then pull the pan off so the rest can drip out. Maybe use some brake cleans in there to get most of it out. There wiull still be a little oil in it. not much though. Either just throw down some rags and have brake cleans handy, or buy a drain pan. Shouldn't be too much hassle.
