it sounds like your a real newb at this if you don;t know how to drain the oil, SO my advice is don't get too far ahead of yourself if you plan to take apart the motor and crap. there are steps. Get a haynes manual or something and learn from that, and get a buddy to help you. When it comes to stripping motors, i love to do that stuff. I learned it in school as well as doing this first hand.... I built my first motor when i was your age. <-- sounds weird to say that.
Good luck.. Oh and when putting it into a truck, put it on a bare tire or something.. not straight on the oil pan.. And another tip, get a motor stand.
