Vehicle Identification Number is what VIN stands for if you make a kit car and you put a VIN # on it it could be 1234-4567 as long as knowone has that number. lets get it straight a VIN is a vehicle identification number thats it be it a race car or a 4 wheeler they are all VIN's a
