In a move that not only surprised outsiders but completely took employees by shock, Bill Heard Enterprises, which operated 13 dealerships in the Southeast and was the largest Chevy dealership in America by volume, abruptly closed it’s doors yesterday to it’s employees. Noting the current economy and rising gas prices as contrubuting factors in its closing many are left to wonder if it could have something to do with a pending suit against Bill Heard Enterprises involving signature forgery and deceptive marketing that could result in up to $50 million in fines.
