Yes, you are right. They redirected the site to gtcars.ca . its some improt site where it has nothing to do with racing. Just one of those show and shine sites. Look like this is my new home now.

I don't see a merge. I just see TSR with a new page.

This message is posted on behalf of the new owners at TSR.

Although there is some controversy regarding the change, we would like to point out that the site is trying to grow, not change. Our aim is to connect a more diverse userbase, but at the same time attempt to keep the essence of TSR (street racing). As you can see, this involved a difficult balancing act to try and keep both.

I am sorry to hear that some of you are disappointed with the change, but of course there are also many that do like the new site. We have already thought about this prior to the update and we felt this is the best road for the community. Like Rabbit pointed out, all the forums are still there, with only slight modifications, a new design, and some extra features.

The site is not a "import car forum" or "show and shine site" - We have completed a promotional campaign with the ImportFest staff.

I am glad some of you have found a new home here on Mark's new forum - and it is a fine forum indeed. However, I would like to point out that we are not in competition - so I wish Mark the best of luck on his website as we move on with ours.

Umm, TSR is gone, Its now called gtcars.ca , if that isn't a merge, then I don't know what is. If they wanted a new page, then why do they have a redirect up. It could have been left with the old URL. Its because they are not street racers, they are show and shine people. They don't want the image of street racers. Here are some facts. The same thing happened whe GTAstreetracing was sold and Mark left to start torontostreet racing. Now mark has sold and started with this site. I can see TSR going the same way as GTA did. I have already asked my nick be deleted from there and all of my post. I don't go to show and shine sites, nor do I go to show and shine events. It will be another site to delete from my book marks. Its just a another way to stop streetracing by taking a name out the site.

I actually enjoy the threads and topics better here, seems a bit more open and less ghetto, not so much anger management issues and more about our love of racing.

wow.. the site really is gone.. first it started with spam emails (surely the email db was sold) and now that... oh well..life goes on.
