Your site; you can do as you wish with TSR. I think the site looks slick, i agreed that in terms of you guys getting more sponsors to earn money that the name change would be the best way.
I agree, that’s what you would have to do. But Cory, in the end it doesn’t matter what i think. The people are there, you have the users, as I said the site will just keep growing.
As for the spam issue. I checked my sql back up of TSR and the current site. Some of the people who were spammed had "do not show email" enabled. Which would make one think that someone gave the addresses up. In all the years of running TSR i had never been spammed by any sponsors, ever. But, whatever. Not really a big deal, just not that classy.
Anyways, doesn’t matter. I'll say it again like i did earlier. It was a smart plan to buy TSR rather than starting from scratch. Mark and I were never into the site to make money, maybe we were naive. But to say you bought the site to 'just improve it' for people you don’t even know suggests that the users are naive. If its all about money, power to you, there is nothing wrong with it, if that’s what you want to do with it.
