Anyone hit hard with the weather?

Heard on the news Toronto was hit pretty hard today with the weather. Talked to a buddy of mine driving in it, said the hail was crazy.
I guess a tornado touched down in Fergus. Winds strong enough to throw a car across a field..

Well I didn't get anything close. A bit of rain, and maybe i heard thunder in the distance.. thats about it.

We got hit hard in Ajax. For those who know the area, Westney road dips down, and goes under the 401. This area was fully flooded. Like water higher than your doors.

My work (car parts warehouse) got flooded. We lost power on and off for a while. Then water started leaking in. There was nothing we could even do except make sure all stock was off the floors. In a matter of minutes the whole place had an inch of water through it, and it was even hgher at the back where it was elaking in. Me and another guy had to move our cars cause the water was just backing up. It was about 6 inches away from my tires.

Monday is gonna be brutal, trying to clean it all up. Right behind us (where the water leaked in) is a big consturction place. The drains just backed right up and mud dirt water and i think some sewage just went everywhere.

My sisters werew coming home fremo the gym and they said a few sewers actuallyt had the tops pushed off frmo water, and water was shotting out of it a decent amount.

it was total rape in scarborough. i was watching "four brothers" with my dad in fairview mall (donmills&sheppard) when they said we had to evacuate the theatre cause the malls been flooded. so, we got outside to the upper level parking lot where the rain was pouring down heavily and their was water about 30 cm high. so we got in the car and made it to sheppard. going down past the 404, everyone else was turning around... the road was flooded. no one could get through. so we turned around found a back way to get around this... another street flooded. by now it was like an hour wasted so my dad was like screw it. so we drove the car through the flooded streets. made it back to sheppard and continued down. then got screwed a couple more times then made it back home. i talked to my mom later... sher said it was like almost dry in etobikoe...wtf!?!

Yea, we were using buckets to empty water out of the bottom of our stairs...'

It had overflowed onto our driveway from the ditches (that'd be almost 4.5ft high) into a river lol. This was in Hamilton though.

I was in Brampton on Friday, and the Canadian Tire depot on Steeles had huge gushers coming out of a couple of drains in their yard at 7:50 in the morning. Parts of the parking lot was flooded too. But I left town at 2:00, so I missed most of the fun.

Got outta work early with pay
the power went out, so we got sent home....lots of the roads were rivers practically and my backyard was flooded(luckily it didn't come into the house).
the lightning was awesome, esp down near my work(whitby, wentworth area) the bolts were so defined and the thunder shook the buildings.
