Hurricane Katrina is to hit the states in the morning. Its right now a category 5. the largest a hurricane gets. They are saying it will be the largest storm to ever hit in US history.
Last time there was a category 5 was in 1992 and canada got hit hard, and this storm is suppost to be worse.
Winds are up to 175 mph, i think the last update was..
I think its crazy that New Orleans is a ghost town cause of its mandatory evacuation.

This is a radar pic of the storm when it was a Category 1 before it hit florida. WIth it being such a low category, many people didn't think twice about it, but thousands lost their homes doe to flooding. All you could see what their roof tops.

Boy am I glad that damn tree beside my driveway fell over in 1992 and hit my dad's van at the time because both my cars are parked right beside where it used to be....

im not suprised. i think the climate is shifting slowly and later we're all screwed. the seasons seem to be pushed back about one month. look outside. its august, but its cool and leaves are falling. i wont be suprised if the earth blows up in like 50 years.

Looks like they over estimated this one.. Again.. like any storm, making it out to be more then it is.
Winds are still strong, 145 mph, but its only a category 4 storm.
I hope we get something here.. Need a good storm. We havn't had a good storm yet this year here...
