sorry to be like this but i can proove you wrong on all acounts, just because i know this setup will not get you 10's , not only that , your prices are way off, this setup doesn not run 10's let alone maybe even not an 11, 14psi will net you less than 300whp on a b18a alot less, more like 250whp.
but let me brake some things down for you.....
$500 for a shell maybe,
complete swap b18a swap for $1000 maybe that would be hell of a deal, considering no matter what the stock mounts won't work considering if this is a 92-95 civic, the cable trans mounting is different and would have to be seriously modded, not only that you would have to change over the pedal assembly to make the cable work for the cable trans, lets say you get it the motor is old probly 200,000km or more, how long it would last??? LOL
so $600 for a turbo and manifold, ebay manifolds break everyone knows that ss autocrome i think they even com pre-broke for you, $300 used turbo would need a rebuild, another $300 on top of the original turbo price. you forgot intercooler and all the piping and clamps and hoses, not to mention waste gate and blowoff , i am not sure but the gn turbo may have internal wastegate,
you also forgot fuel system for the cell like a pump and lines lets say you manage to get this car done with what you said for that amount of money, you think it would run 10s???

14 psi is not gonna get it done i know this for a fact, not in a b18a thats for sure and not for what you are suggesting......do you even know how many b18a's in the world have ever gone 10's? i have a ruff figure, and thats with hell of alot more power in hell of alot better chassis, and in a lighter car
Argue what you want, been done and proven to work.This was done in a 1991 civicc that had a 1.5 in it, only had to relocate on bracket to get it to fit.The car may weighed in at $1800 with the driver in it.Actually, its a small bracket that cost next to nothing to change a cable tranny to hydraulic. But I preffer cable over Hydraulic, that just my prefferance. The differnce is thinking you know hondas and building a honda. If you can't take this set up and get 10's, the find a better profession. My god. we had this set up running a a civic already, it fact because we did our own work, it onlt cost $3000 of out of pocket expenses. Maybe if people would learn to build cars and instead of reading books on hondas, they would know the how too's. B18a are cheap, they are non v-tech, pcik them up for dirt now, ls trannies the samething. Anybody that argues these facts, then should put up or shut up.

I know cause i used to weigh cars at the tracks for the sanctioning bodies, i know because i have built and weighed many cars, a full steal cage weighs minimum of 200lbs. not to mention the civic with a b18 and a turbo kit gutted would weigh minimum of 1800 i'll give you 1700 even 200 with cage and i'll give you 150'lb driver thats 1950....and thats being nice.
3. 14psi non intercooled with an fmu on the high end would make 250whp if you have a horseshoe.
you have no clue who i am or what i do, i have been building hondas since anyone ever was building them, i was at the first import event, i have been racing and building hondas for 10 years, I AM THE ONE PUTTING UP, i race every race there is, where have you been " i raced a 10 sec camaro" ya right, so this car was on the street then how come you weren't cleaning up, cause if i had a true 10 sec civic that could beat a 10 sec camaro, on the street , that is probly the fastest civic in the world. a ten sec fwd wouldn't stand a chance against a 10 sec rwd car on the street, everyone knows that. your civic must have been running 9's to be even close to a 10 sec rwd car on the street .......if you don't belive me ask someone who knows....

This is what I know, you talk alot of shit about hondas, but only have a 11 sec all motor crx. Maybe if you got you head out of the books and learnt to build them right, you would know its possible. We built this car as no one like yourself believed it could be done. Well it was. You also try these things before you put them down. The little graphs and charts means squat. The civic lost by a fender. Here are some useless facts, no body in the GTA would race it, they were all pussys and anyone that had a honda was the most ignortant people around and would shot off their mouths when they raced other stock cars. The car was parted out, it proved its point. Heres another fact, learn before you say it can't be done, as it can come back and bite you in the ass. I made that mistake once myself. This car is gone. but it was over woodbridge and markham. Once people saw it, they ran with there tails between their legs. It took 9 months to build the car, as we didn't want to pay stupid amounts of money on it, we shopped around to get the best deal. We built it the same way as the domestic guys do, we asked around until we found people with the parts laying around.
You should stop going to all this rip off shops that are located all over the place then. For $7000 you buy a car that is already done and running in the 10's. Thats right, I forgot, people think hondas are gold and sell their shit at outrages prices.
Mark, only a fool races for money when they have nothing to prove. We don't build them to be the best, we do it for fun. If we wanted to be the best, we wouldn't waste our time playing in canada, we would go state side. Alot of people saw this car when it was turbo'ed, even more saw it after had the turbo system removed at the track and in woodbridge. Then I bought it to keep it around, but got bored of driving in a tin can, so I parted it out and sold off all the parts and scraped the shell. Having 6 cars in my yard was to many. The Lemans will be done in the next month. That too should be a another 10 sec car, but fully streetablable. Not sure what I will do with the '69 pick-up though. I think I will turn that into a show and shine thing with just enough power to play with CRX's.
