i agree, hitting the wall sucks. But im not sure where that came from..
12.30 from a 1300 HP car isnt that great.
cant expect much considering it was most likely the cars first time at the track? obviously 12.30 isnt great from a "1300hp" car but you'r not gonna get expected times if you dont use all of the power.

If a 1300 HP jammed off the line and shut down at the 1/8th, i still beleive he would pull more than a 12.30.....
Where was this car dynoed ?
did he jam it off the line???? i wouldn't of if i had a turboII tranny with that much power. im just trying to look at it from other angles, who knows.

I hear ya. ...im subscribed, ill just follow along now
It's a half chassis tubbed car running a 325mm wide BFG Drag Radial, obviously we weren't lauching, pulling hard through all the gears, or shifting hard. Our 2.2 second 60 foot is evidence of this. Like someone said, we're running a Turbo II transmission. If we utilized all 1300hp, we would either shear the output shaft in two, or we would strip the teeth off whatever gear we were in... (it has happened before), then we wouldn't be able to see how the engine was performing through the RPM range, which was the point of bringing the car down the track in the first place. We can't just go out the first time and launch the car hard and then bang through all the gears... we need to make sure everything else is perfect before, obviously some of you don't understand this.
Besides, how many 1300hp cars do you know that have run their best times during the first ten times they make it down the track?
Anyway, I'm done with this topic... some people in this thread have no idea what they are talking about and there is no point in going any farther because I know how this thread is going to go from now on. We try to share some pictures and progress of the car with you guys and all some of you want to do is pick apart little details and trash talk for no reason...

Close the thread please.
Agreed. Jealousy kills.
There is more money in that car then what the majority of this sites population makes in a year.
