On a side note: What do you guys think about making the SS classes an 8 car field? This would help prevent sandbagging?

I would only do this if we introduce the new Comp style class, then we could put the non-qualifiers in there so they would still be guranteed one round of elims.

CSCS is only a very part ime gig for me. I am responsible for race day operations. I also oversee the rules/classing and anything to do with the drag race portions of our events.

For next year I have taken on a few more responsibilities (ie. building a vendors midway). But all of these are done when I can find time away from my other jobs.

i don't like the idea personely , but i have seen too many racers in nhra or nopi have problems on a 2 day event and not qualify, 1 day events if you have minor problems you would be out before your day even starts, i don't think snad bagging is an issue but thats my personell oppinion

The other thing is that every Class should have their own TROPHY at the end of the season NOT JUST THE PRO COMPACT..... every class worked just as hard not just the Pro Compact

2 day event would be awesome...
Maybe even put some dinners together for the racers to get together and have some drinks and get to know everyone better ?

any updates on when the 2006 CSCS sched is going to be released??
