Aren't they there to "lift" the car so that it puts more pressure on the front susp? inorder to get more traction?

I could be wrong, I'm just a girl

Edit......After reading my post, I noticed, sarcasm doesn't come across the puter that well......lol

Yes, you are correct, but they are not needed on any of these cars.

I know, just put a B18C in with the original mustang tranny. Then it'll go backwards in drive. Problem solved.
