I think most simple way to understand how the bar works is to look at lenth of the car with out the bars u see the car buck and spin the wheels. With bars it dont buck as much and get better hook out of the hole with the motor trying to twist and force the back wheels down the wheeliebars inturn act like new pivit point and make it like a longer car so force's would change and so would angel.

Kinda like short breaker bar vs longer one.
I think Ace will understand that idea.
Oh and bars also help out in the topend to keep the car stable.
all wheelie bars do is compensate for the amount of weight transfer...so the majority of the weight stays centered on the front wheels rather then transfered back to the rear allowing the front to to get lighter anf break traction!

stroker...in the pics on the other page of mike crawford(SRT) marty ladwig(cobalt) and ron lummus(sunfire) your telling me that you know more then them and there crew chiefs?

hell, martys car is a factory backed GM car and your telling me you know more then them about designing a racecar? they have the best ppl in the world working on that program...thats why the cobalt of marty's is the first front wheel drive pro car to hit the 200mph mark and the first to go 7.30's in the quarter!!!!!

and you really truly think you know more then his team???
Yes I do. First off you all fail to realise FWD drag racing is a fairly new concept. Been around probally in around 10yrs now. So basically everything is new to them. Also, they have no idea on how to control the weight transfer other then using a wheelie bar set up off of a RWD cars. I can guarentee you, I can get these FWD to hook better and get a quicker time without the whelie bars and on top of that, also get the rear wheels to come off the ground. The whole package shouldn't cost more the $600 to add into and car.Its not my fault if everyone thinks inside the box and I think outside the box. I guess this is why they will be slow and looking at my tail lights.

Stroker,

Out of curiosity.. Do you have ANY proof of your wise tales? Any proof of your Super Human abilities? People didnt believe in Superman, until they saw him..

Please, reveal you time slips, and your Secret Project Car that plans to blow the doors off, or in your words "looking at my tail lights." of the million dollar GM Team..

Btw: Why arent you on the million dollar GM team with your wealth of knowledge?

The differnce being, they do it for a living. That takes the fun out of the sport.
I do it for fun and because I can. I enjoy doing things that people say can't be done, then going out and doing it. It usually pisses them off when I prove them wrong. This is also whythey are all against me here, they know that I can do it.

Well one way to help with power tork of the motor on the car would be to re-design the motor to spin the other way and twist the motor to front of the car over the back.

I think this was done in nascar and banned. re-design the motor to spin other way and help the car in conner by torking it over to inside insted of the out side and to the wall.
