I remember that night u took me for a spin in the cougar with the built 302 and u told me to keep my eye on the tach and u hit 8500rpms...

That was like...5 years ago, maybe 4...

i would say most people who have blocks (302) built to shift at 8500 RPM are going quicker than 11's....

Maybe he does go 11's, maybe he doesn't. I really don't give a ****. But I can attest to the 8000rpm+ shifts. I drove it myself that high.
