good sleeper is a EF hatchback with a h22 or a civic 4 door froim the same era ...

make sure the 4 door is that shit brown colour and no tinted windows or anything.

just swap in a h22 bone stock, cheap easy to do and stock sounding.


it would be a pretty fun car for weekends.

Unfortunately though, that doesn't really fall into the category of "Ultimate Sleeper" due to the fact that people are so predispositioned to believe that civics are fast when any kid is driving them.

civic with motor swap is more the norm then a sleeper.

agreed 100%... unless i seen an old lady driving one, i would expect a swap or some mods.

Older lud with trunk or older CRX with H22 but stock rims no tint, nipple lights or fart can could still be a sleeper.

The idea of what a sleeper should be changes from one person to another.
Take a 1985 malibu wagon shoe horn in a 502 crate or 400 SB with spray and put on some big mufflers to quiet it down. To some people thats a sleeper to others its a wast of time.

Frist gen RX7 swap in 302 or 350 and you have same poor mans vet as when people took Datsun 240Z's and swaped in 350s.

NAPA auto parts car ( firefly ) with talon AWD and motor swap.
In japan you can get firefly in AWD.

The only problem with the first gen RX7, or Datsun 240Z V8 swaps, is if they weren't reinforced properly, the doors wouldn't open two days later.
