This is getting old and boring.
Now if anyone posted any slips this clown would then go OH thats juts slips someone tossed away. If he Posted slips odds are they would be other peoples and not his.

If racerrick gets around to hosting a few vids on the cougar it still dont do shit. Thats from 2 years ago with non roller motor when we were trying to get the susp working right. What do it prove? Only that cougar went 13.4 at 107 spining all gears and drifting all over the lain.

i remember once this guy told me he had a low 9 to 10 second mustang but he ran 13's all day....

It must be a quantum physics thing For people to say say what their car runs when really it hasnt ran it.

I like the people that have stock motors and just buy bolt on stuff then add up HP there sopose to get.

I should have motor in and set up by end of next weekend i just got new clutch and bolts in so this weekend its time to put it back in.
1000kms later i want to dyno it.

Well forged pistons are what failed.
Roller rockers are fine,
Roller lifters and cam is fine.
Crank and rods are fine,
All ARP bolts are fine,
I slaped in another chain and oil pump.
Why re-use chain when there cheap i was going to go with gear drive.
Oil pump had mettle get in there so no way i would re-use it.
So i already have some quality parts in there.
Wish i would have the cash handy for a set of trick flows to slap on my motor.
That will be my B day gift to me.

Just curious at what your combo is (if you don't mind me asking)

Real performance will be gained from the heads...TFS are good but AFR's are better...Canfield, Pro-TopLine (now RHS Cylone) and Darts will all make big power...to get an honest 500hp and streetable from only 351ci's you should go to a Roller Cam (you have one...what brand??)...Ed Curtis (FlowTech Induction cams), Jay Allen (Camshaft Innovation) and Bill Metzger (Lazer cams) have cams that would put you deep into the 11's on motor...I have used Comp/Crane/Crower...with good results but have run the fastest with Lazer cams

As well, I wouldn't run a gear drive...harmonics (vibrations) are transmitted to the valve train...stay with a double roller...a Belt drive is the best
