Just look at the video and compare the sound of your engine to other 302's with similar mods revving to 6000rpm.

Ok, if he won't I will. When the **** are you going to wake up and smell the damn coffee. Anybody with half an IQ point knows that a 302 has no problems screaming to 8500. Does it make power, maybe, maybe not. When you finally wake up and come into the reality of racing and building motors, you will understand this concept. My machine shop I deal with said I was nuts when I told them that I wanted my engine to handle 10,000 rpms. They said it won't make power that high. I told them that I didn't care. Spending an extra $1000 or so to get it that high was alot cheaper then spending money to rebuild it when you accidently misshift or knock it into neutral.

My 351 has a Bennett roller cam.
Crane Roller Lifters and SVO roller rockers.
Its a bit of a miss match but it works well.

02 had a cam very close to X303
The flattapit cams i started off in the 351 was 520/540 lift on the frist one and the other other one was 500/520 and the frist one rounded off a lobe around 5000K then put on in and killed that on break in, Went with lower one and it lasted till i went roller.

Cost is killer when you have a non roller block
