You bring a stock 302 with heads, ill put up the dyno time. I wanna see it lay down some 8500 RPM passes that are efficient..ones that work

Back up here a bit. I am not commenting on Randy's set up. I have already stated I have not witness it. I seen the old Cougar, but never seen it raced. Only heard it run and seen him drive it.Wether or not it does what he claims is not my problem nor should it be yours. All the counts is who is looking at who's tail lights.

So are you not gonna take Rick up on his generous free dyno offer?

watch his video. I believe at one point you said you had more credentials (for automotive) than everyone put together on this site... So, in your expert oppinion, what do you think of the video

And yes, my offer stands to both Randy and Bob.. bring down your stock 302's with heads and arp rod bolts and lets wind em out on the dyno to 8500 RPM

That's a good offer... free dyno time. Randy has nothing to lose by going to that, unless he is lying.

Nope, youre right.. we'll strap it down. Setup the Cam, make sure all the 1320 witness are behind protective lexan and let Randy laydown an effective 8500 RPM pass....
He'll even get a print out

First off, I don't play with fords. Too expensive and hard to get get parts for. Second, I can listen to that video and 30,000 other ones too and they will still say the same thing. The engine was running, the guy shifted the car.But without seeing the tach, I can not tell the rpm's. I hear other problems with his motor, but I can not tell you what rpm's it running at, the same with any other video I have seen. You all hear whats coming out the exhaust. That is harder to tell on a video then it is actually being there in person and having the hood up on the car. Also, carb'ed motors will also sound and rev different then a fuel injected motor. This is what alot of you have to keep in mind.

ahhahahaah I just saw that video, thats funny

8000-4000rpm between gear changes no wonder you lose so much.

But seriously your using a sunpro gauge which is notorius for being a peice of junk and most likely its wired incorectly.

not a chance in hell the motor is reving past 6500
