The comet is supposed to get a psychotic 429 based motor with a bad ass tranny, but the car has been sitting around for about a year and a half now. Well tommy slowed right down after the bypass.
He was going to build a motor for me for the cougar but that was right around the time he had surgery. I almost got to buy tommys 84 T bird when he pulled 460 and the toploader out. I had my my Z28 then and i snozzed a little to long and some other guy got for 1000 bucks and put a 302 in it and killed it.
You should ask Tommy about his old 302 with 2.3 pinto rods in it and how high it would REV. His 460 had 440 six pack rods in it was nice too.
When it came down to building cheap motors that made power he knew his stuff long b4 J&P and a few other places. Then went on to the 6banger stuff. His 3'8 suff he did with SuperCoupe's realy got his name out and he was smart to jump on V6s
