You've obviously never heard of Tommy Morana and some of his 3.8 N/A motors. With mild head work, ported intakes, custom cam and full exhaust his old school 81 Mustang + Ford V6 managed to run 12.7 back in 1995. He's too old to race nowadays but he's built some very potent Ford 3.8's (and even stroked n poked em to 4.3L). I'd love to see you get fed by a Ford 3.8 hahahaha

I knew tommy when he had his 460 T bird and frist started AfordAble out of the back yard shop off gerrard and greenwood LOL. I think tommy still has is pinto too. I use to work for Bill at rod shop. And Tommy knows the old man that builds my stuff. I think Tommy use to work under him. I will check that out.

Expect a post back on that with in 24hours.
And is tommy still working from home? He had to close shop when he had heart bypass.
But was still doing stuff from home.
Nice guy.

I used to work for Tommy. He is doing all of his work at home now. I believe you're referring to his 460 Comet, which is at my friend's (who happens to be Tommy's cousin) shop. The comet is supposed to get a psychotic 429 based motor with a bad ass tranny, but the car has been sitting around for about a year and a half now. Hopefully Tommy gets his motor finished so Tony can finish the Comet up.

Well tommy slowed right down after the bypass.
He was going to build a motor for me for the cougar but that was right around the time he had surgery. I almost got to buy tommys 84 T bird when he pulled 460 and the toploader out. I had my my Z28 then and i snozzed a little to long and some other guy got for 1000 bucks and put a 302 in it and killed it.

You should ask Tommy about his old 302 with 2.3 pinto rods in it and how high it would REV. His 460 had 440 six pack rods in it was nice too.
When it came down to building cheap motors that made power he knew his stuff long b4 J&P and a few other places. Then went on to the 6banger stuff. His 3'8 suff he did with SuperCoupe's realy got his name out and he was smart to jump on V6s

Not alot of people know that he knows alot more then 6 shooter's
