Question SirBSaLot so how is your Aluminum Big Block Ford Fairlane project coming along?

So how is that project coming along?

It’s been a few years now, last we heard, you claimed you already had the Ford performance parts aluminum big block, that’s approximately $8000 USD right there, you had the aluminum con rods as well as a clean Ford Fairlane for this transplant.

Oh….and about those con rods, I nearly forgot to mention; I was at Straight Line Racing the other day and those used aluminum connecting rods that they sell for $10 are only intended for decorative purposes, they’re no good after they have already used them in their car. So you’ll need a new set of rods.

Hmmm now that I think about it, this car of yours sound a lot like another Fairlane we’ve seen around

I’m legitimately interested in your big block Fairlane project.

Seeing as you had the car, the aluminum block and heads all purchased over 3 years ago now it should be on the road this summer perhaps?

You were telling so many people about it so naturally we’re all very anxious to see it. It should be quite a ride considering you have easily $20 000+ invested in it.

So do you think your Farilane will be faster than the red '66???
