I had a 85 Gutlass with a 350 small block, and a TH350 tranny. 650 CFM holley, and 2 MPG. There are days that I miss it. When I fill up my wifes Jetta, or either of my rabbits with gas, is not one of those days. The main complaint I had about that car was the seats. I needed like 12 cans of Coke to go from Sarnia to London without falling asleep, in the couch that they put seatbelts on and called a front seat. Good for screwing in though.

My god, are you uneducated or what. That shit piece of crap quad 4 is useless boat anchor. Not even worth the time effort installing parts on. Thats almost like building a VR6 VW. An explosion waiting to happen. THe Z24 is a 3.1 motor, not available in the new Z22's that are now being call the Z24 but the losers that drive them. Shit, you guess really have to get on the bus and catch up. The 3.1 bone stock with a turbo set up will do mid to high 12's right out of the box. So, stop you dreaming, stop your whinning, that piece of shit 2.4 will never be a reliable auto, with or without a turbo.

first off moron, the motor in my car is a twincam, not a quad 4, quad4 hasnt been used since 95. the 3.1 liter was not used in a jbody after 1994, from there on its been all 4 banger. the 2.2, the 2.4 twin cam and the 2.2 ecotec. no where did gm evre use a v6 in them. look at my sig dumbshit, its a third gen, meaning 95- present, and im sure its been posted around that my car is infact a 2.4.

boat anchor you say? how so? the 2.4s valvetrain is good over 8000 rpm, aftermarket support allows me to buy anything, eagle h beam rds, clevite bering, arp studs, wesico and je pistons, everything is available for this motor, a fraction of that is available for the 3.1 liter.

second the 3.1 makes less power than the 2.4 and weighs more, so how is that a smart move to use that motor? come to think of it your assuming that the z24's only came with a 3.1. infact you moron, the 2.8 and 3.1 were offered in non z24/sunbird gt models for the second gen j bodies.

please do some research before talking to me about a car that i know absolutly evreything about. you sound dumber and dumber everytime you open your mouth. and this just pushed you over the edge making you sound like even more of a stupid ass sheep fuking sister groping hillbilly.

oh yes one last thing cum monkey. the newer, well let me be a little more clear on this. the 96-2002 years, the 2.4 was the only option for the z24, for anything else the crappy 2.2 took its place, after 2002 the 2.2 ecotec too kthe place of all the motors. the 2.2 ecote and the base junk 2.2 offered before them are not even close to being the same motors in any shape way or form. the ecotec in itself is a marvel of a motor andi could get into it with you and make yo ulook even dumber if you want
