bwahahaha....well...well....your a stupid head!!! thats what your comebacks are like old man!!! and no for your information my car ran a 14.7 @ 107 and do you think i really care??? and good random number to pull out of your ass
LOL, that is all, a 14.7. And your are here trying to act like you know something. Please, give your head a shake. A TTC bus does that
Like I said before, if you all think I am dreaming, then proove me wrong. Build the car the way I told you and then come back here and tell me I a full of shit. Until then, you all know nothing, will amount to nothing and too stupid to know the difference.
So far, all I hear is it can't be done, I am dreamer, I know nothing, I am a hick, I own a tractor. But in reality, its the ones that don't try that have these problems. So far, I see a dim wit with a TSi that does 14.7, a twit with a lsvtecturbo, a CRX, and some washed up turbo mustang owner that have a combined IQ of a rock making comments about something they know nothing about and are too scared to try it.

Well, your car weighs in about 200lbs lighter then it came from factory. So, you say its not stripped. Further more, adjustable bilstiens doesn't mean shit. ****, stock ones would have giving you the same result. Anymore pethetic excuses for your slow ass car. I think its more of the driver who can't drive.
My car weighed 200 lbs less than it did from the factory because it's got 4 racing seats, no carpet underlay, no spare tire, and a cage. Oh and Lexan rear side windows. ( those were the only ones allowed by the Super Street rules). At one point it was stripped. It was going racing full time, until the rule change of nothing older than 1988 in that class. And it didn't qualify for the old school class because of the motor. So let say I left it with no carpet, 1 seat, no stereo or sub box, no interior panels, and order Nuespeed race springs instead of sofsports. Add to that a set of slicks on the front and mini's on the back, it may have hit high 10's. However, there's a hell of a lot more than 7000 in the car.
Just for the sake of argument, because that's what this thread is about, lets break that down.
Car cost: 300. got it from a guy who was going to junk it. With 65,000 kms.
Engine cost: 50. Got it from a wrecked passat. with all the electronics, and tranny.
Turbo cost: 50. Got it from a wrecked 1984 300Z.
Intercooler cost. 70. Got it from a buddy's GN parts car.
Clutch cost: approx 200. Nuespeed stage 1.
Cylinder head build cost: Approx 4000. Includes cams, valve, springs, P & P, etc.
Bottom end build cost: Approx 2000. Includes crank balancing, knife edgeing and bracing.
Shit, haven't even got the engine in the car yet, 7000.
Axles from GTI 2l 16v, 50 for 4.
Turbo tubing cost: Approx 200.
Roll cage cost: Approx 1100. Had a friend do it, gave me a deal. Really complicated because it had rear seats. ( 2 door car)
Seats: Corbeau racing seat 300 each.
At my count that's way over 7000, and we haven't even broken the 30 or so rear tranny mounts, or other engine mounts that I've bent or broken. The small shit is gonna add up, and if you had ever built your own car you'd know that. I didn't even add in wiring cost because my best friend did all the hook ups for me, all I did was run wires to where he wanted them. (Thanks Ray. Still owe you.) So build your civic. I want to see it run at all, let alone run 10's for 7000.
Oh almost forgot tires. And Wheels, or do you have some spare slicks kicking around your machine shop in your garage?

You missed the big point here. I said a stock motor with a turbo on it. Lets see, you called my car stripped, but yours is not, even though it weighs 200 less then factory with a cage in it. You took out the rear window and put lexan in it. Hmm. Mine had full factory glass in it. So thank you for coming out MrICAN'TDRIVE.
i laugh when i see domestic guy telling import guys how to make their imports go faster.. i know the fundementals may be the same, but it's just funny when one side cant admit defeat..
