Maybe you missed the title and what the first thing I posted about it. Plus, there is nobody here even worth prooving it too.
Bob, we've spoken a few times, so i got to ask, do you even have a car atm? I know you said you were building a stang and it was repo'd by the feds, so what are you onto now?
You claimed you were part owner of the vega on TSR, i dont ever remember hearing about the 10 second turbo civic or any civic that you owned.
It just baffles me that the vega, rwd and all would have been given a run from the civic. I mean, accoding to you the vega only ran 10.540@133.00.
Its a losing battle saying you can build a 10 second civic for under 7K to race at the track, and having nothing to back it. No different than anyone hear claiming they can build a 10 second Vega for $100, and when you call them out they say its been done.. but no proof....
Oh well, good luck convincing EVERYONE of the 7k civic that runs 10s, theres ample people whove been trying.... this isnt a dig, so dont take it that way.

You are so full of shit. Admit it you don't know what you're doing. You can't even read. I said the rear side windows. The rear window is factory along with the door glass and windshield. 200 lbs is easy to lose when you replace the carpet, and underlay. If you had ever built a car you would know what the carpet, underlay, front and rear seats, and seatbelts weighs. My guess would be around 350+. The Corbeau seats weigh approx 21 lbs each, and I put 4 of them in the car. Just so you understand, 2 in front, 2 in back. Get it? No bench seat? There's 80 lbs gone.
You know, I actually said "I hope he succeeds in building the car. It would be great for the sport." But now I really know you're a keyboard racer. Shit you don't even know anything about shocks and springs. Neuspeeds Sofsports, and Bilstein adjustables are one of the top rated setups for street and strip.

Maybe you don't understand the english language. Or would you like me to say it german so you understand. You removed weight from the car, not just by the seats, but by windows, carpets and undelay. That is no different then what was removed from the civic. So, either way, you car was stripped.
I really don't care if they are the top rated or not on the street, they are still no better then stock when it comes to drag racing. If this was a rear wheel drive, then you may have an arguement , but its not. Maybe the next time you are at the track, look at how a fwd reacts on launch compared to a rwd. You will understand it better. I can get a FWD to hook the same as a RWD does, bt with no fancy equipement. Infact, it wouldn't cost more then $60 to do it.
2tone, I have 2 projects on the go. A 69 C20 camper special pick-up and a '81 pontiac lemans. On top of that a full time computer business, a complete rewrite of a CMS(for those that don't know what a CMS is, its the software like what this site uses.), and in the middle of opening up cyber cafe. So ya, I have alot of time to drop everything I am doing to build a car that only a handfull of people can stay with. Not. Not worth the time or effort. But will be more then happy to give anyone a hand with it. Just to make sure its done exactly how the other one was.

And if you could read, what I said is it is not stripped now. The carpet is in it, as well as new seat, all be it 4 buckets, and stereo, and sub, etc. All that was in it when it ran 12.3. Oh and BTW, I know how to set up the shocks for drag. That's why I bought adjustables. They can be adjusted harder and softer. << Just had to explain that to you. The purpose of adjustable shocks is to increase damping strength, so you can race and then DRIVE IT HOME IN COMFORT. And I have been to a track and seen cars with no rear shocks, so I don't need the concept of welding the axles explained. See I have actually built my own car not a pickup/camper. Or a LeLadies.
BTW if I thought you were smart enough I would ask you to say it in german.
