Oh and BTW, I know how to set up the shocks for drag. That's why I bought adjustables. They can be adjusted harder and softer. << Just had to explain that to you. The purpose of adjustable shocks is to increase damping strength, so you can race and then DRIVE IT HOME IN COMFORT. And I have been to a track and seen cars with no rear shocks, so I don't need the concept of welding the axles explained. See I have actually built my own car not a pickup/camper. Or a LeLadies.
BTW if I thought you were smart enough I would ask you to say it in german.

Only an idiot would weld the rear suspension. Adjustable struts are useless also. They are great if the car is set up for a road course though, but not drag. The trick for it is actually something they do for off roading. They limit the amount of travel in the suspension, therefore, in the case of drag racing, keep the weight on the drive wheels. You use a 4" ratchet strap to put a load on the suspension, making sure the tires don't hit anything. This works good as long as everything clears. We did have anotehr idea that was alittle more complex, and less chances of it interferring with the drive components.

I hope you're not trying to pass off that you know how to speak/read/write in german, because using an online translator is pretty lame.

Bob I'm pretty sure everyone knows the Vega was owned by Rodger, even though the ownership was in his ex-girlfriends name.

Yeah that's amazing. Not even one spelling mistake. And I wonder what part of street car he didn't understand. When I go to the track, it's to have fun, not preload my nice comfy struts and springs. I stiffen the struts in the rear to prevent it squatting, but that's as far as I go. If it had been a track only car, I would have done it right.
