ooohhh, doing a whole whooping 11.2's. Please give it up. You lack ambition and imagination to get a real time from your car.I hear that you can get a good 600hp from that stock VR, but they lack a transmisson that will stand up over time. They like to blow apart the diff assembly. When you want to do some real time runs in your lump of a car, let me know before you sink any money into it.

just so you know, been playing with VW's probally before you learnt to crawl.

LMAO... shit engines eh...

1.8? 1.8 what? 1.8T? Is that why the fastest VW is running a VR6T??

You're a schmuck... Hurry up and build your $7000 budget 10 sec civic you talk of... You're so full of it's not even funny...

Do you not realise that people laugh at you? You used to brag about a Nova that wasn't even yours... you say you had a 10 sec Civic with a B18 (non-vtec) @ 14 psi... lmao... get real..

VR6's are very good candidates for boost... they make a lot of power and a lot of torque...

If they're so shit, how is it that a MK3 Golf with a STOCK (from top to bottom) VR6 running only a thicker head gasket is running mid 11's on pump gas? Street class.. full interior and everything...

The 1.8T is a good motor, but you out of all people that likes domestics so much knows that there is NO replacement for displacement... Pound for pound the VR6 will kill the 1.8T.

Again, the mouth that yaps, but has nothing to show. The one that couldn't build his own cars.Has to follow others around riding on their shirt tails. The fact is, you know shit about what you spew out of your mouth. The car was not a Nova, its a Vega, about 1000lbs difference. You do need reading lessons too. Nowhere did I say I had a 10 sec civic. I said it was built and how to build it.I said that I did own the car after it was parted out and turned into a NOS car. When you actually have something, then maybe you should talk. Until then, I would keep quiet seeing you are only popular for the people you hangout with.

I think you should move along. Stop being a follower and maybe do some things for yourself for once.

Last time I checked I was. ^^^
As for my car, I guess we'll have to wait and see what a gutted, caged, and built 1994 GTI VR6 will do, won't we. If I break a couple of diffs, well I'll just try a different one won't I? I've had good luck with the passat trans, so I'll try the spare one in my garage if I break the original. If I break that one, well that's what test and tunes are for. I'm expecting to break stuff. I broke stuff in the rabbit all the time. Motor mounts, CV joints, Tranny mounts, axles etc. But I never broke a tranny. Fortunately, I have a friend who owns a tranny shop in town here, and I'm sure he'll help me out if I pay him. That's in my budget. So when you know how to maintain and trouble shoot, then we'll talk.
Oh strokerace if you know so much more about VW's than me, Why did you argue for so long about the 2l 16v engines being slower than the 1984 Jetta diesel you had? I'm still waiting on those #'s on the Jetta. Oh wait that's right 60 hp and 95 ft lbs. And the 2l 16v passat/GTI engines, 134 hp and 142 ft lbs. Yep that jetta is going to go 180 alright. Build your civic, and talk shit when you're done.
I honestly hope it works out, I'd love to see a 10 sec $7000 car. Good Luck.

Again, you know nothing do you??????. I didn't argue, you did. I said that the 2L has less power then my 84 desiel did. Typical for someone who only knows how to get someone else to build thins for them. Get your heads out of the books. Stop being wantabe racers and actually do something for once in your lives beside following the wrong ways that others are doing.

Right back at ya. I built my engine my self thank you. The only things I didn't do was the port and polish, and the balancing. The bracing was done by a shop AFTER I assembled the engine. Including the head. 84 diesel with less power than a gas 2l.
