Allright. Lets be honest. The only real drivers are in the FIA world rally. However, how many times did Dale Earnhardt win IROC races and titles? I would have loved to see him race in something other than Nascar, but he made so much money there, why would he leave? Look at Dale Jr. Riding on the coat tails of Dale, he gets the best of everything, but is nowhere near as good. I don't like Jeff Gordon, but the little ****er can drive. Look who dominates at road courses. Jeff Gordon, Robbie Gordon, Tony Stewart and Jimmy Johnson. That pretty much covers every road course on the circuit. Look what happened when they put Jeff Gordon in an F1 car. 3 laps 1 sec off pole time. Now on the other hand, they all still whine if there is a little dirt on the track. I just wish rally racing got better coverage here.

You're forgetting one of the best Canadian road course racers of ALL time - Ron Fellows. Who do you think they (NASCAR teams) call when they need someone for their road course races? Of course, Ron Fellows.

I like all racing, not as much nascar, but there has to be talent there, otherwise everyone who bashed it would be in the drivers seat doing it..right??

Yeah but Ron Fellows rarely keeps up with the Nascar road guys. Even Boris Said with DEI gear couldn't win. Off toipic a bit, I'd love to see Richard Spenard run against Ron Fellows in identically prepared cars.

Why, pro drifting is exacly like figure skating. It's a judged sport, where your ability is based on presentation and technical merit. Tandem drifting is just like pairs in skating.

Two things about drifting here, 1

-Anyone who drifts for more then 4 or 5 years gets bored of it and moves onto solo/wheel to wheel racing. As cool as it is, the novelty wears off.

2

-As much as you would like to say 'ooh it takes such and such driving skill and its all about the driver'. No, no matter how far you come as a driver, the kid with the lsd and a turbo will 'out drift' you completely.

Otherwise, drifting is fun and cool.
