I got a question for anyone?. I brought my 91 Z24 in to Mufflerman today for an E-test. The Z failed. My buddy was the one doing the test. He said he had a few Z's fail because of the EGR valve. He said cleaing it should do it. I would save my self alot of money doing it myself. The part of the test that it failed was the highway speed part. Every thing else looked really good. My Q is would the dirty EGR make me fail on its own or could there be something else. And is it easy to clean. I have never taken one apart, but i know were it is. I have worked on cars quit a bit so i don't mind doing it. But alittle help or tips are always appreciated.

If it failed on NOx then it could be your EGR, check out the e-test and post up the readings, it will give ppl a little more info
