DSM gurus needed

A friend of mine has a 1st gen Talon(turbo) and his rad fan is not coming on leading his car to overheat daily. I changed the rad fan relay located under the hood and still no fan. Is there anything else I should look for to make his fan opreational? Thanks for reading.

Put a multi meter on the wires pre/post the connectors. Probably just dirty contacts or a lose ground/power.

Check the sensor that triggers when the fan is suppose to turn on. Its located underneath the fan in the rad. If you still havent fixed it and your friend has the AC fan connected just push the AC button inside the cabin and it will auto turn on the AC fan, this will stop car from overheating.

make sure that the fan switch is indeed the problem...is his thermostat opening? how is the coolant condition? clean grounds? i would run power directly to the fan to verify good operation. if the fan works, chekc the resistance on the fan switch as per your haynes manual..if you need the specs i can dig out my old haynes book for my dsm...
