Last year my dad got a wicked deal on snow tires from walmart.. He paid $25 bucks a tire *brand new*. I dunno why they were so cheap. They were mad grip in the snow too.

I want the X-Ice's.. But, those prices are all for like 155/80 13's... I need 185/65/15's. The X-ice's ar like 125 or 130 for that size.

i have found michelin to be the best on snow and ice.. there rubber doesn't go hard. stays rubery which is nice for the ice and snow.

I found a couple of people selling a used set for $250-$300 75% tread with oem dsm wheels, I drive a dsm. As long as the rubber has not gotten dry/hard I'll be picking them up. I know, I'm a cheap ass.

TSI+AWD+SNOW TIRES = The shit for winter, as long as I don't get all brave.
