Anyone get a chance to test drive it? Took a 5 spd EX out today, man what a nice car. There is absolutely no competition for it for the price. The fit and finish is top notch, the styling is amazing, and even the 140 hp version is really quick and torquey (for a Honda motor ) Seriously considering an SiR now, though I've heard they won't be available until Dec.
I don't mind the styling, but the civic, jetta, and other small/economy cars are getting bigger. We just bought a 1994 Jetta, and the 2006 Jetta makes it look like a SMART car. Cars are getting to big again. The sport compact market is becoming the sport mid-size market.
havent seen a coupe yet. seen a sedan, not bad at all. the pics that i've seen truly make this car look disgusting, but in real life its looks pretty sweet. theres no SiR though, its only the Si right...

I can't recall exactly... last model the SiR in Canada was the Si in the states, not sure if they're doing the same system this year or not.
The new Civic definately seems bigger, but atleast it's not really heavier. The coupe's supposed to weigh in about 2600 lbs according to Auto Consumer Guide, which is nice Every time there's a redesign the cars usually gain a lot of weight.
