a/c or not!? need help on instaling!?

im looking at 92-95 civic si hatchbacks. most of them on i've seen do not come with a/c... is this a great factor in buying a car? also i know that north american and jdm civics come with a/c. if i buy a hatch, can i install a/c on it? if so, it is worth it and how much will it cost approx. for parts and labour? thanks

First off get the windows tinted. That will cure half your problem by blocking UV rays. Secondly, get A/C, the summers are way too hot now not to have it. Price shouldnt be more than 500 bucks if you source the parts from a good boneyard. The price comes when they retrofit it for the 134a refrigerant. I say do it, you wont regret it.

BOOSTED_ITR was telling me its a huge pain to put it in a Civic. so buy with. If you cant, expect to pay. And make sure you can find the coolent for a reasonable price.

who needs ac.. put the windows down, crank the tunes and enjoy the wind blowing. and if its si, then it will have a sunroof.. and if you have ac, the sunroof would be closed.. enjoy the sunroof. or moonroof, whatever is in those things.
besides, it eats gas, and takes away horsepower..
