So what are you trying to say here? I wish people would be more clear on what point they are trying to get across to people..
With this thread, do you mean V8's are always faster/better then I4's? or are u saying the american V8 is a better built motor then a honda I4?
Because if it's the latter then you are very, very wrong
Honda's 4cyl is much more technically advanced to say the Mustang's V8 you're talking about...
And HP/L does mean something... It shows how efficient the motor is... Just look @ BMW... All of their M cars have at least 100HP per L... Including the new M5/M6 with a 5L V10...
And as 6M above mentioned, the new Audi RS4 with this 420 HP 4.2L V8, again 100HP per L...
Sure to some buying these cars like Mustangs, they could care less as they'll go out and drop all kinds of money on the motor to make it as fast as they like and not care about HP/L... but the fact remains that HP/L shows just how efficient and how good you are at building motors.
