The Horsepower Per Liter Farce
A lot of Honda and Acura lovers like to cite their engines' "superiority" and "efficiency" with "Hondas make more horsepower per liter." Ahh... the lame old "power per liter" ploy. Some high performance Honda engines make over 100 horsepower per liter. While that is nice, Honda lovers forget that those engines are only a tiny 1.8 liters! A high performance American 4.6 liter V-8 makes about 305 horsepower. Do the math!
305 horsepower > 195 horsepower
305 horsepower is more than 195 horsepower, no matter what the engine's displacement. Ants can lift 100 times their body weight; humans can lift much less. Ants are much smaller in size than humans. Humans are so much less "efficient" than ants, so does that make ants "superior" to humans?

that is where i got it from and quoted it from i didnt claim it was mine but i think theyre right because hondas tend to be slow xcept ones with big wings and monster tachs though you might think they are drift cars obvious mods would also dictate possible drag racing setups so watch out for nawz and deisel injection cause when the deisel hits its like nos x 18 and we all know how much that is

Face it, no matter how you slice it, when it comes down to ultimate power output, a V8 will never be beat by any Honda or Supra. It's simple physics, more displacement = more power or potential for power. I think that's what the retards that wrote that little article were trying to point out. Even though a Honda engine is still powerful, it's only powerful compared to other engines that are similar. For example, a 195hp Honda 1.8L ITR engine is a far better engine then a 1.8L Mazda engine, which only produces 125hp. But in the grand scheme of things, a 195hp 1.8L Honda is shit compared to a Mustang SVT Cobra R supercharged V8 engine. Comparing apples to apples, displacement per liter is an effective way of rating an engine, but when you compare apples to oranges, displacement per liter means nothing.
