Save the insults and get your facts straight. I am not a braud, but a 30 yr. Class A mechanic who likes to go fast affordably. Therefore my weapon of choice has always been Mopar.
Don't get me wrong Chevies are fast too, but beating the dime a dozen bunch has always made racing just a little more fun.
The Ls6 story in a Mustang is almost 2 yrs. old, I made the same comments to the magazine when they announced the project in 06.
Their response, GM donated a crate motor to promote

their engine program. They suggested if I new someone at Mopar they would gladly drop a hemi in the mustang as well.
Sorry, Mopar doesn't have to give away a motor to promote its products.
Besides who needs a hemi, last fall I beat a LS6 corvette with my near stock 360, TMP, time trial, heads up Sept. 30/07. My car 12.94 B-body Plymouth street car, the Vette with a claimed 505 HP, 13.20's. So much for all the web sights suggesting these LS6's are Viper killers, in their dreams maybe.
As far as the Mustangs maybe I should have been a little clearer because they don't thrill me anymore than an LS6. However if I owned one Iam sure a strong 302 would at least keep up with the Vette I had the pleasure of beating on.
For the not so strong 302 Mustangs out there I have a 14's PT Cruiser Stage 1 that will give you a run you won't want to remember.
