ls6 still does not exsite me, sorry.

Save the insults and get your facts straight. I am not a braud, but a 30 yr. Class A mechanic who likes to go fast affordably. Therefore my weapon of choice has always been Mopar.
Don't get me wrong Chevies are fast too, but beating the dime a dozen bunch has always made racing just a little more fun.
The Ls6 story in a Mustang is almost 2 yrs. old, I made the same comments to the magazine when they announced the project in 06.
Their response, GM donated a crate motor to promote their engine program. They suggested if I new someone at Mopar they would gladly drop a hemi in the mustang as well.
Sorry, Mopar doesn't have to give away a motor to promote its products.
Besides who needs a hemi, last fall I beat a LS6 corvette with my near stock 360, TMP, time trial, heads up Sept. 30/07. My car 12.94 B-body Plymouth street car, the Vette with a claimed 505 HP, 13.20's. So much for all the web sights suggesting these LS6's are Viper killers, in their dreams maybe.
As far as the Mustangs maybe I should have been a little clearer because they don't thrill me anymore than an LS6. However if I owned one Iam sure a strong 302 would at least keep up with the Vette I had the pleasure of beating on.
For the not so strong 302 Mustangs out there I have a 14's PT Cruiser Stage 1 that will give you a run you won't want to remember.

dr. mopar, think you got the wrong post, man. this is an attack on melissa, not you. no one's dogging mopars. we went with GM to exploit the vast amounts of aftermarket for the application, really. its easier to find parts for.

It just as easy to find quality parts for Ford, Mopar or a Chevy. Exploiting a Chevy in a none Chevy brand is a waist of time as far as most of us are concerned, even if GM gave you the motor. You see most of us live in the real world were budgets and time are a factor.
My point is a Ford, Mopar or even an AMC can be just as fast if not faster than a Chevy, so why waist your time?

Yea, i just finished reading all that babble about how you join forums and tell them you own a car for each forum so that you can spam.

Kinda lame

Oh well, i know we turned Melissa away on our sites, good to see they are doing it here too.
