Well, as the abortion comment, if you had listened to the story, they had no clue as to the severity of the condition. They had thought it was cleftplate, which isn't severe at all, many kids are born like that.
I don't know what I would do in that situation, but seeing that she has to breathe through the tube in her throat, I'm sure the parents had a decision to make very early on.
I don't think I would have made the same decision as they did.
Think of how much pain she will be in during her life, surgery in general is tramatic and painful, but to have to go through several surgeries?? omg, I don't think I could do that to my child.
