They bought Sprint Canada. I was with Sprint and by default I'm now with Rogers home phone. Good thing is I now get 15% off my home phone bill since I qualified for a Rogers bundle discount (phone, internet).

I dont know about that. I think its becuase the telecom industry is highly regulated (especially in ON). Thus, only the players in the Ontario market now can continue to do business in ON and/or merge firms like Inokshok. Unlike us, the US has many different telecom companies. We got like what: Telus, Rogers, Fido, Bell, and Virgin?

Canadian industry is too regulated.
