Thumbs up Opera 8 Webbrowser, nice... download link here

Well, i use Firefox and thought id give Opera 8 a try. Cant stand IE, it does suck.

Try it, you don't need to use it. but its nice to have. Firefox is still A+... Imma try Opera out abit more over the next few days, i like the skin option

Just note, anything is better than IE

yea, i got like 50billion spyware when opening IE. is it worth the change from Firefox
-->rabbitman. it should. im running zonealarm too and firefox.im assuming when opera opens, it'll ask to allow connection, like firefox, and just say yes everytime or whatever

LOL... no, its mainly because of the O/S. I was running win2000. i remember reloading the whole system and getting spyware on the first bootup lol. anyways, post your opera reviews please!

seems to run pretty smooth, quicker than firefox. When you close it, it keeps the tab from what you were veiwing open.

Question is, is Opera a stand alone web browser or merely an extension that runs on top of IE like version 7? That is what I want to know.
