one time i found a whole bunch of shit of my computer.. i deleted a crap load of various files.. i ended up deleting something important and screwed my computer up..

Those are the replaced files from every windows update you have done. Since you dont usually want to uninstall updates, it IS safe to delete them. I always do and I have never had a problem. Frees up drive space and that is always good. HTH
