yeah he was by a slight margin @ CPU... but he killed me in Ram. But my 2 year old system is getting outdated, replacement coming soon.

BTW, had to remove the "shim". POS made my CPU overheat and shut down! Dont use them peeps...

A shim will NOT make ur CPU overheat...if u did not have it installed properly it would have been offset and made ur heatsink sit on an angle instead of flush.

the only thing the shim is supposed to help is to keep the heavier/bigger heatsinks from shifting around and applying un-equal pressure to the CPU's die and in some cases causing them to crack/brake.

Well I wouldn't bother with a shim anyways. Spend the money on a good CPU cooler.
