I told u NVR...the more bandwidth will DEFINITELY make the computer faster than overall MHz will...see if u can do 12.0X multiplier....
Mark...OBVIOUSLY u wouldnt be using stock cooling if ur gonan go that high...
My T-Bred 'B' 1700+ was at 2.2VCore for time...TIME!!! and it ran relatively cool too, on air cooling...
ALSO NVR, take ur CPU temperature with a grain of salt, flash ur motherboards bios even, use Motherboard Monitor 5 to monitor the temperatures/voltages of ur MOBO. I find its the BEST and most accurate tool.
You're going to show me 2.2 stable volts on stock air with temps already in the mid 50's @ only 1.7V? And just because it worked on one chip, doesn't mean it will work on all of the Jay, you should know that by now. My girlfriends 2500+ can only do 2.4GHZ. Although it does it at only 1.725V. Different CPU's respond differently.
BTW - Notorious, you shouldn't need 1.825 Volts to get 11.5x200, you should try lowering it in increments to see what the lowest stable Vcore is.

Oh i know not every chip is the same...im just saying i can show u my 1700+ @ 2.2VCore...

I know.. but honestly the only stable voltage @ that speed was 1.825...
Either way I leave my computer on 24/7 so I put her back down to 11x100 @ 1.75 V... It runs @ 45 deg with a lower fan speed so it's quieter
But thank's for the OC'ing help both of u

Hhahahhaha awesome, thats wicked NVR. What CPU do u have again ? is it a 2600+ Barton or a 2500+ or a 2600+ Thoroughbred 'B' ?
-Jay
Jay I got a 2600+ Thoroughbred....
I think I'm going to try to get a little more out of it... but I dunno...
It seems like today since it's a lot warmer then yesterday afternoon the idle temps are around 43-44 deg. While still not bad, I need to wait for colder air so I can try to push it even further
Anywho... the pics as promised... of course they're not the best since I'm too lazy to collect the rechargeables from around my place to use my good digi cam, I used my phone instead.
Enjoy

Hahaha thats neat man...nice idea...but i bet u get a crazy draft in ur house now...lol
Either way good stuff...if u want even better results, try and wire up a case fan on the other end of the duct to blow air into the pipe 24/7...even though its warmer out it will vastly decrease the temperature....
