if i leave my computer for a while 30-60mins and come back i can't access the internet i have to restart my computer then everything is good? has anyone run into this??

i did a spyware check and virus scan i don't think it has anything to do with that any help would be good...

What I do is disable the screensaver, and just shut my monitor off. If I don't want anyone on (usually don't), I lock it (xp or win2k).

i seen this happen before, the problem lied with the power saving features in the bios.

The NIC's IRQ was being monitored and whent he computer went into "low power" mode, it would shut down the NIC, but wouldnt re-enable it when the screen saver was shut off...u may want to look into updating the driver for ur network card, or go into ur bios and disable all the power saving features.
