Oh man I would be pissed if I had actually bought that POS. I'll wait for the PS3 thank you. Sony is where it's at. Never had a problem with my ps2, and I've had it for 4 years, never had it apart, never even cleaned. Love it, and I'll replace it when the PS3 comes out.
I am thinking Sony is the way to go here.. Just have to save up a hundred bucks and I am good to go. Microsoft needs a swift kick in the ass if they spend billions and produce crap.

It's just due to insufficient cooling. The video card only has a flat aluminum heatsink, which is covered by the DVD rom. The only air comes in from the fan ducting air over the CPU Heatsink.
It's terrible cooling for that vpu, and is causing artifacts.
Man, that’s a real shame. Marketing monsters Microsoft make for all this hype by only letting some large distributors carry the bulk of 360's, get tons of pre order and yet, deliver a product that wasn’t developed or tested thoroughly.
I would be pissed to, but its not surprise. You never know these days.
